Made from quality enamel coated cast iron, these casserole dishes distribute heat evenly to cook food perfectly, without hot spots. Perfect for pot roasts, stews, casseroles, rice dishes or soups, these casserole dishes keep food moist and full of flavour, turning even cheaper cuts of meat into something delicious. Suitable for use on gas, ceramic, electric, halogen cooker tops and ovens, (up to a maximum of 180 degrees centigrade, 350 degrees farenheit, Gas mark 4), these casserole dishes have rings on the underside of the lid that help baste and keep meat moist during the cooking process. Each casserole dish is available in a choice of black or orange with a round or oval design. The round pan measures 23 x 23 x 17cm and the oval pan measures 28 x 22 x 15cm, both with a capacity of 4 litres. Not suitable for use in microwaves.
